"Cotton Candy" began with a gold underpainting on panel.  I then created an abstract painting of pinks, whites and blues to suggest a sunset.  I added in the beach and a suggestion of ocean.  My primary medium is oils, and this time I’ve added cold wax layers which gives an added dimension to this piece.

This new body of work evokes a strong sense of place along an imagined or real coastline; my hope is that you immerse yourself in these scenes and get lost in this coastal world.
