Oregon Coast

When I was invited to show portraits at Fairweather House & Gallery in May, it did not take me long to decide that I would paint a series of Nike Beach Dogs based on photos of employee's dogs enjoying the beach.  Kristen Bacon graciously agreed to let me paint Stevie, who was the first in the series!  This is a portrait of him at the ocean, with his big ears, enjoying the surf and wet sand all around him.  I'm guessing he needed a bath after this visit to the beach!

Stevie was on display in the Portraiture Show at Fairweather House & Gallery in Seaside Oregon for the months of May and July 2019.
