The 2018 Willamette Valley Lavender Festival was nestled within a whirlwind of activity for Karen - her daughter's graduation from 5th grade, a visit from her mother-in-law, a year end dance recital, a visit from her German exchange daughter, the 4th of July holiday, and her family departing for a trip to Europe, where she would soon follow with the start of her 25 year Nike sabbatical.  Although given two weeks to paint at the various Lavender Farms throughout the state, Karen had time for only two painting sessions, and did not submit her completed paintings to the show, as it would occur after she'd departed for Europe.

January 14 - April  15, 2019:  In partnership with Sequoia Gallery, this painting was on display at Intel, Hawthorn Farms 2 on NE Elam Young Parkway, Hillsboro, Oregon.
